Rugby Australia’s on-going media accreditation applications

Rugby Australia (Rugby AU) media accreditation applications for the HSBC Sydney Sevens, Vodafone Super Rugby, Buildcorp Super W, Mitsubishi Estate Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup Test matches, and National Rugby Championship will become available on this page as they open for media access.

HSBC Sydney 7s (February 2019) Media Accreditation

Applications - Closed

Applications will close on Wednesday 12 December 2018.

Media applying must agree to Rugby Australia’s Terms and Conditions in order for an application to be considered.

Every person accredited must have photographic accreditation, and no application will be processed without a correctly formatted headshot.

An application for media accreditation is not a guarantee of success. Confirmation will be provided in writing by the Rugby Australia Communications team.

Vodafone Super Rugby & Buildcorp Super W (March 2019) Media Accreditation

Media wishing to cover Australian home matches of the 2019 Vodafone Super Rugby Season are asked to complete the following form.

Please note that all media will be asked to provide a clear passport style photo for all accreditation passes.

An application does not guarantee accreditation and Rugby Australia will be in contact with you in regards to your submission.

Applications will close COB Wednesday 9, January 2019. No applications will be received after this time.

Rugby Australia will exercise discretion in issuing accreditation which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Whether the applicant is known by Rugby AU, the World Rugby, SANZAAR, or other affiliate recognised bodies.
  • If an applicant works for a recognised news or publication, agency, or website which is available to the general public.
  • Appropriate consideration as to the reach of a media organisation’s coverage, and for news agencies, the scale of client base.
  • The need to ensure representation across international, national and local media.
